Say hello to VRGIRLZ

Are you ready? Well we’re not, well kind of, well nearly. We’re late… but we are here.

Thanks for your patience. It’s taken us over 2 years from our early VR incarnations and testing with the DK1 to finally be able to publish working products. Big thanks to Oculus VR for igniting the VR industry we are surrounded by today.

We would like to introduce VRGIRLZ

With a Z? First VEIVIEV now a Z!! We needed to stand apart from anything else. VR + GIRLZ seemed fitting.  ‘Z’ just to mix things up a little, it is 2015 after all.

VRGIRLZ will feature some very early prototype BVR (basic) products. They are basic in form but grounded in a very solid structure, a sandbox to play in. Something for us to build on. Our next goal is to integrate LEAP hands into the BVR products, no physics but with collision. Having the ability to touch will add a great deal of presence and boost the quality of the products.

Please head on over and register an account with us! Maybe hold off on purchasing, wait until we release a demo tomorrow.

You might think that £5 is a crazy amount of money for what the products are. 10 scans of a female model in a row, flat skin, basic lighting. Whilst this is true, purchasing our products will be kind of like pre-ordering. Supporting us to develop further. You wont believe some of the things we have in mind going forwards into 2016. You can help us make your dreams and ours become a reality. We love what we do. Every single pose has been carefully hand crafted, with 100’s and 100’s of man hours gone into each model. Combined with many months of hard work in code, scripting, scanning, directing, sculpting ….and we have a lot more to offer.

Some notes, that I think will come up from users experiences:

Our products are in early development. They are basic yet set on good foundations, good controls, UI and speed, plus we hope …realistic good looking female models.

  • What’s the point?

If you like the female form, you ‘might’ like these products. You can view these female models frozen in time, from any angle and at any size (ICD) you like. You can shrink the world around you and enlarge it, which can create some very unique situations.

  • £5?! What a waste, it’s not even a game!

No it’s not game. These are essentially viewers, tools to play with realistic 3D figures. It’s the next evolution of adult entertainment, from cave paintings, to books, to magazines, to black and white film, VHS, DVD, BlueRay, Tubesites …to VR and beyond.

We haven’t made a game, you will paying for the quality and nature of the content, that will improve over time. There’s not much to do in the demos at the moment, the scans aren’t always 100% perfect but they will give a hint of what’s possible.

  • They don’t look real!!

Some will look real and some will look OK. Being able to replicate the human form in the digital world has been an on going pursuit of many people, researchers and companies for the last 30+ years. It’s an endless process, it’s not easy, it’s time consuming, it’s expensive. ‘Perfection is unobtainable’ but we can certainly try. Help us succeed. Believe in us and we will deliver for you.

  • But they don’t move, what’s the point..

They don’t now but we do have moving versions. We’ve run 100’s of tests and breathing cycle animations prove to be VERY interesting, we’re just not ready to release them yet. Maybe in product version 1.5. The first releases will be version 1.0.

  • Uggh.. the hair!

Yes we know. The hair isn’t ideal and we have a solution in place but we are waiting for the next generation of GPU cards to unlock our research in VR. We have the tools, we just need the power.

  • Boring backgrounds!!

These are early sandbox environments, we are researching interior rendering and have the methods and content in place that we hope to share very soon.

You can purchase some of the early products by first registering on VRGIRLZ, verifying your email link, then you can add products to your cart. We have a built in credit system on the store which might be a little confusing at first, we are looking to stream line it. We are trying to encourage the purchase of more content.

Each BVR costs £5, if you purchase 1x BVR you will gain 2x credits into your deposit account. Each credit is worth £1. These will then be available to spend on more products. If you purchase 2x BVR products you will gain 4x credits into your deposit account and so on.

Inside the Products

Each product contains a readme file that will explain all controls. In the products we also have a built in ‘Keys/Control’ screen activated by F1. The controls will look daunting at first but they are very intuitive once you get used to them. We hope to go full ‘hands free’ soon 🙂

Don’t forget you can duplicate, rotate and position the models in many different ways!

We will post some demonstration videos over the weekend.

We will have a prompt each time you run a product. It will display “Version XX”. If there is an update available it will say:

Version 1.0

New Available Version 1.1

You will then need to log into your account on VRGirlz and you will find the updated download ready in your account section.

Adverts and Sponsorship

We’ve scrapped our old security measures and precise analytic’s tracking in favour of a more open version. In the hope that people wont pirate. As a backup we are hoping to be able to gain advertisement and sponsorship from outside sources to further fund our developments. So you will see some subtle text based advertisement.

Model selection

We have 4 models available at the moment with limited sets but we have 100’s upon 100’s of poses and outfit changes that we are slowly working through to add the store, with the intention to add 1 new model a month to our growing collection. We already have 2 new models scanned and ready to process in the line. So 6 in total. With support we could scale up, outsource or hire staff and grow slowly to scan more and process more but most importantly have enough room to innovate.

That’s enough from us for the moment. Have a look through the website, see what you think. I would say hold of purchasing anything for the moment, wait until we release a demo which should arrive this time tomorrow. Or you could take the plunge now but again, please bare in mind these products are very limited in scope.

Any issues with the website or products you can reach us on support (at) vrgirlz (dot) com

Thanks for reading.

    I am excited!

I just purchased all 5 available packs. I noticed after that you have a credit system, wanted to give you kudos for this. Also, I paid in Bitcoin – and the process was seamless. Good work! I love bitpay. 🙂

Not much more to say other than this is exciting, and I know this isn’t the AVR stuff (which I want desperately), but it’s still great.. I really REALLY look forward to breathing animations. The test ones in the DK1 version were amazing, it’s what made me feel I was standing next to a real person.

I wish you great success early on and into the future!

Congratulations on a successful release! I eagerly purchased four of the packs using CCBill (Epoch didn’t work), and plan on purchasing the last one with credit. However, the credit system seems bugged. If I try to purchase a single pack using only credit, I get an error saying: “Please specify payment method” even though there’s no such method to specify.

Looking forward to trying these packs later today.

PayPal worked fine for me, I bought the lot, and thanks by the way for the bonus credits, it kind of makes up for the terrible Euro to Pound conversion at the moment.
I think you’ve shaken the tree with this launch and competitors will surface, but the sheer volume of work required

I see. Thanks a lot for the quick response. I guess my post could be read as a little disappointed, but overall I’m not. I think it’s a pretty impressive product and I would recommend it to anyone. The detail and the feel of it is really something else. I hope that you will concentrate on adding more poses (not just for Ariel) before adding more models, because I think most of us was looking forward to exploring certain poses you’re showing off in the previews. I’d be more than happy to pay to see more of the model’s you’ve already got instead of a new limited selection of poses of another model. Keep up the great work!

btw, have you considered accepting and facilitating donations?

Thank you. I understand and we are interested and glad to hear criticism or praise. We will certainly be adding more poses and the more advanced AVR products will be a lot more fun but we have a way to go on those. We might be starting our own crowd-funding campaign directly on the site but only if we gain enough interest and trust from customers first. We want to make sure people are interested and enjoy the content. So we could accept donations that way. We might also be selling limited addition 3D prints, and some merchandise to boost interest.

There is a inconsistency in the letter that are not US versions when u do CCbill. that should not be an issue when we are a lot of people who have letters that are not a standard English letters.
It was ok when i went with an A instead of an Å.

This problem i have never seen before, but have found in some CCbil versions. Dont know why.

I also had some issues with the captcha, but it worked after refreshing it with another puzzle. Got errors saying “wrong captcha” before it was successful. I purcased all five of the available BVR’s with CCBill with no more problems.

The application itself is really nice and simple, but I’d rather not get redirected to your site every time I close it.

The models look great, all though I have a preference for asian women myself. Hopefully you’ll add some in the future. KT-So from would do nicely!

I’m really looking forward to seeing how things develop, this is by far the best adult VR-content I’ve come across yet.

    After using the program for a bit, I wanted to share some thoughts;

    – Stunning work, congratulations on this release!

    – The Vive is practically vital… this needs 15×15 volumetric tracking. The artificial motion is sick-making, and really takes away from the experience, while the little positional tracking available with DK2 really adds to the mindblowing factor.

    – I can see the need for inputs. Subconsciously, you really want to ‘touch’ and have a presence in the space (what would separate it from what has come before – passivity vs agency)

    – More resolution, less screen door, and more FOV of future HMDs will be *invaluable* in taking off the digital edge and stepping up realism in tandem with AVR (for now anti-aliasing helps for a more organic look)

    – It struck me that I really wanted to see the current value for IPD. It was fun changing the IPD, and it would be nice to know specific IPD values to return to/identify your true IPD with human scale models.

    – I’m excited to see animations and AVR

    – Even if imperfect, consider converting one of your most popular models into a full fluid, moving model. You could put in some basic skin stretching and muscle shaping dynamics, and then allow a basic scripting system for what they might do (walk, then sit, then look one way, etc.) Perhaps this would sync well with building input physics/collision

    – Again, great work.

But I think it would be useful for “experiences”/products to be marked “Already owned” on the main page if the user already owns them (perhaps also not allow them to be added to the shopping cart) Fine now with 5 packages, but when there is more…(perhaps a filter to remove already owned packages too)

Q key for exiting the program is not a good idea considering most if not all users can’t see the keyboard and can hit the key accidentally.

Other than that, fantastic work as always. Can’t wait to see what else you guys come up with(interactive animations 🙂 ). Another thing: would be nice to also include stylized characters, like semi-anime or fantasy girls.

Thanks for the suggestion. Does it matter about Q? Wont you quite once you take the headset off? You can also Windows key out and hit x as well. Would you be interested if we added a cell style shader to the realistic looking scans?

Hi, sorry about this. We still have some teething problems with Epoch which should now be fixed and for the future. We replied by VRGIRLZ support. Thanks for your patience.

Best NSFW VR experience I have had yet, and I love the customizable IPD.

It would be awesome if you can add some foot fetish type sets in the future.

Anyways, thanks for the great product.

I tried payment with Epoch but I couldn’t finish the process. I am unsure what to do now. I have an open order but can’t go anywhere to do the payment, it seems. What can I do?

What happened exactly? Talk me through the process. Did you get a card declined? Or did it appear to be a success? Let me know and we can try again or your best bet would be to try CCBill. Your old order has since been cancelled.

Great work guys! I can’t imagine what the AVR stuff will look like! Is there a way to toggle the movement so my height stays constant? It currently moves in the direction I’m looking, up down or anything. I tried some of the keys for toggling movement modes but I can’t tell the differences. Anyway, keep it up, glad to see such high polish on what you guys call a basic experience!

We’re going to add a version update with 2x modes. 1x for walking as you suggest and 1x for flying. Thanks for your comments and support.

Just letting you know that I bought a couple of your products really as support for what you’re doing rather than with a belief the current five “shoots” are worth the price. I’ll be honest, it’s mostly in the hope you’ll produce a lot more material with Ariel, who is a delight.

Thanks. If you knew how much they cost to produce and the cost of the website infrastructure you might appreciate the value. We’re trying to offer as much support early on as possible. This is early development, we have to start somewhere 🙂 Ariel is by far my favourite model, I’m working on more sets of hers right now. I hope you will enjoy them. Thanks for your support and honest comments, it really helps us move forwards.

Hey just thought i’d let you guys know as per my prev comments, the demos and the packs work completely fine on dk1. I used vr manager to try to force it to 1080 but obviously this may not work fully with dk1, but still they looked absolutely amazing and I was getting nearly 65fps and I’ve purchased one and will be getting more and have gotta say what you guys have done is incredible. My dk2 is on the way anyway and my pc is well and truly ready for whatever you can throw at it, cannot wait for the first AVR.

ps. I think £5 is well and truly deserved for what u’ve done, as you must of ploughed so much money into this, keep up the good work!!

I just purchased 5 models and it looks realy good! Too bad that there is no option to put the models together. Will this feature come in the future? I also hope that there will be a option to add a picture on the background.

What are you PC specs? Do you have the latest Oculus drivers? Just to clarify we don’t say we support the DK1 on the products. Only DK2, however it does seem to work for some.
