Product releases?

Where are they? When will they be released?…

We’re getting a lot of emails and comments from eager fans wanting to know when we will release?! Thank you for paying interest in our endeavours, it mean s a lot.

We work with freelancers from all over the world and rely entirely on their support and communication, if a freelancer is late in delivering a software update, or preoccupied, or sick, or busy, this impacts on VEIVIEV!!

This whole venture self funded, we haven’t launched a KS or crowd-funder campaign, we have sold no products. So we are not in debt to any community, we are self reliant for the time being. In this case please bare with us, we are working as hard as we can to release some products.

Our registered trademarks for the brand are also still pending international certification, so we want to wait for those before we launch the full product range. This is very important. They were submitted a few months ago and we are waiting patiently on those, this gives us time to fine tune what we want to release.

Thank you so much for being patient, please bare with us a little longer. I will not post any more speculative dates when we will launch products as the targets are hard to meet, as we rely on others to help us meet those targets. Some thing’s are out of our control, we get just as frustrated as you guys! 🙂

Please do check back when you can, I will try and update the blog every month at least once.

Not much time left if you are sticking to the September release date. Looking forward to what you have to show!

I know you said no speculative updates, but going from “something this month” to “update you at least once a month”. Can we have some indication? I.e should we be checking back weekly/monthly/6 monthly?

I get that things are unpredictable, but knowing a general feeling of is it going to be a long while or a LONG WHILE would be great.

Sure. A piece of string is “this” long. Does that help? 🙂 It’s going to be a LONG WHILE going by how let down we’ve been by various freelancers. I can only apologize on their behalf.

thanks for the reply 🙂 I have been down the free lancer road before for a few projects, something I don’t ever wish to go through again. Some can be brilliant, others promise brilliance only to deliver late and garbage..

Thanks for your understanding. Agreed. They can be unreliable and flaky. The main issue is, we are waiting on these trademarks to be granted. IF they are granted. Once that happens we are ready to ROCK.

what i not understand…why you tell all the readers since end of last year very soon…very soon…couple of weeks… up to relase to dk2….up end of this month….if you calculate so much far away from what you can do….then tell never you will relase something very soon .say just up to relase of the cv1 and you have silent here and a few frustrated fans less.i have look 10 month everyday here ….and was happy to see a new demo…and again…nothing!

BECAUSE. We’ve been let down by freelancers not delivering content on time. This has had an impact on us. You’re not entitled to anything, we are doing our best. There’s nothing we can do, we’re going as fast as we can!

@Johnny I believe this post was veiviev telling us not to expect anything this month.

Thanks for the update! A great VR experience takes time… and a lot of work and testing. We are just at the beginning. So take the time you need and we will have a great vr future! 😉
